The amazing thing is how I have come to really enjoy gardening. Every Saturday morning I wake up before the sun, get my coffee and breakfast and wait for the sun to get bright enough for me to start working.
Prior to this project I loathed and despised gardening. When I was growing up I was constantly in trouble and grounded. In order to get off of being grounded at the end of my sentence, I had to weed the front flower bed. As a result, there was not much peace to be found crawling around on my hands and knees looking for errant vegetation.
I polish off my coffee, brush off the crumbs of my protein bar and throw away the banana peel. I open up the garage door to fetch my shovels and other tools. Staring at the limited vista that is the front yard, I plot which plants are going where. What will the grade be? What needs to be weeded now? As the sun breaks over the hill, I get to work.

On a rainy day
Pondering gardening in the early morning sun, is a fine thing to do on a rainy day such as this... :)
